As a dual-board certified nurse practitioner, trained in women’s health and family practice, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and an expert in maternal-child health, Dr. Erin Erickson is just the person you need to begin or deepen your journey toward caring for you. She is a compassionate and expert coach, she is present and has the skills to give the support you need.

 

If you are stuck, overwhelmed, or stressed (SOS), Dr. Erin is here to help. She brings years of coaching experience and decades of expertise in maternal-child health to help you be the person you want to be and the parent your children need. Erin meets you where you are and creates the safe space and support you need to break free from the common stressors of parenthood and live a calmer, more joyful life.

 

WHAT DOES COACHING FOR PARENTS LOOK LIKE?

During your session, you can expect to be heard and treated with respect, compassion, and nonjudgement. Through deep listening, curious inquiry, mind-body science (such as breathing technique or guided meditation), authentic communication, encouragement and empowerment, Erin will guide you to a deeper understanding of what you need to live a calmer and more joyful life. You will develop new skills that will empower you to use your innate talents and wisdom to live a life that is in alignment with your sense of purpose and to optimize your health, wellbeing, and your life as a parent. Dr. Erickson is not a mental health practitioner. If you seek mental health services, please contact your primary care practitioner or your insurance company for further resources.

 

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A COACHING SESSION?

You will receive a call directly from Dr. Erin Erickson. She will check in with you at the beginning to see what would make the session good for you, or to see if there is something specific you want to work on (an intention for the session). If you don’t have something specific in mind, that’s okay too. Dr. Erin will guide you through the session by asking questions, listening, reflecting, and encouraging you.
